Debenhams and Boots Sale Haul

As you know I am on a 100 day spending ban and so far so good! One of the things I did before I started the ban was to put the goodies I bought in the Christmas sales to one side so that I could use them during the spending ban.  You can see my Lush sales bargains here.

These bargains I got from Debenhams and Boots are the last of the items I got in the sales!
Prada Candy Gift Set
Contains 50ml EDP
75ml Body Lotion
I fell in love with this perfume when I got it in my Feel Unique beauty box in 2011 when it was first released!
It was reduced to £35.33 and I had £20 on my Debenhams card so a bargain at £15.33!

Next stop Boots!
Champneys Distant Shores Collection
Indulge yourself with this collection of tropical, uplifting blends of grapefruit, lemon and orange fragranced body care treatments.
Half price bargain at £6.
45ml Shower Mousse
50ml Body Butter
50g Body Scrub
50ml Bubble Heaven
Also contained a body polisher which I missed from the pic!
Champneys Oriental Opulence Collection
Indulge yourself with this collection of sandalwood, ylang ylang and patchouli fragranced body care treatments.
Again a half price bargain at £6.
50ml Opulence Shower Cream
50g Opulence Body Glow
50ml Opulence Body Cream
50ml Opulence Bubble Heaven
Also contained a body polisher which I again missed from the pic!
These mum & me products were also half price:
300ml Shampoo £1.74
300ml Conditioner £1.74
300ml Bath Soak £1.74
Sleep Mist £2.49
300ml Body Lotion £2.74
BARGAIN!

I've started using the perfume this week although my son told me I smell like dry ice which was kind of weird! I've been using the sleep mist too - a little goes a long way but it smells lovely and I do find it quite relaxing.

Are you doing the spending ban?  How are you getting on?

July & August Empties

Hi everyone! Well can you believe it is the 1st September already, the year is flying by!

I forgot to do my empties at the end of July and only remembered when I went to put another empty bottle in the bag I keep my empties in so I thought I would do a combined post.  I still have £40 saved up from my empties to the end of June.
Ojon Damage Reverse Shampoo and Conditioner - You can read my initial review here. After using this shampoo and conditioner for a few months I do still really like it but I wouldn't pay full price of £41.50 now.  I have found some other products recently that I really like.

L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore 60 Second Saviour - This makes my hair lovely and soft and is very moisturising. This retails for £4.99 in Boots. I would repurchase.

Percy & Reed Moisturising Shampoo - This is nice but at £14.00 for 250ml I wouldn't repurchase as there are cheaper products that I prefer.

All full size items so £4 in the pot.
Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturiser - I got this in my May Joliebox, it is a lovely moisturiser doesn't break me out and I can actually feel it tightening my skin when I use it. 50ml retails at £19 here.  I wouldn't repurchase though as I am loving the next product!

Layla D Honey Moisturiser - You can read my review here.  I really struggle to find moisturisers that agree with my skin but this is fabulous. Would definitely repurchase.

Elemis Pro Collagen Body Cream - this retails at £9.99 here for 50ml, the full size is a whopping £49 for 200ml on the Elemis UK website! This smells lovely but I don't notice any firming or lifting effects when I use it. I have a couple of these body creams through beauty boxes/swaps as it smells lovely but I wouldn't repurchase it.

Apivita Express Beauty with Honey Face Mask - You can buy a two pack for £5.72 here. This left my skin lovely and soft and plumped up! Would repurchase.

4 Sample Sizes thats £2 in the pot.
FAB Cleanser - Think I have had this in every single empties post! Nice product and I'm on my last tube of it now.  Full size retails at £13 in Boots. I would repurchase.

Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser - Full size of 200ml retails for £34 on the Murad website.  I loved using this! It made my skin squeaky clean! But I didn't realise how much it cost :( I would definitely repurchase if I could find it cheaper!

Clarins Water Purify One Step Cleanser with Mint Essential Water- Full size retails for £13.88 here.  I like this, it removed my make up including my eye make up without stinging or causing breakouts and it smells lovely! I would repurchase.

Lancome Bi-Facil Sensitive Eyes Instant Cleanser - Full size of 125ml retails for £17.85 here.   I find it does take a bit of rubbing to remove my mascara with this, I have a full size that I am using but I wouldn't repurchase this.  Happy if it comes in a GWP set though!

4 Sample sizes another £2 in the pot.
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel in Sunrise - Retails for £6.90 here.  This is my last Rituals shower gel and I will definitely be picking more up! They smell gorgeous and are very moisturising.

Molton Brown Vitalising Vitamin A, B + C Bath and Shower - 300ml retails for £15.60 here.  This smells nice but personally I wouldn't spend that amount on bath and shower gel so I wouldn't repurchase.

Gorgeous by Gok Body Wash - This reminds me of Christmas as Ialways pick up a set when it's on offer! It smells so good and doesn't dry out my skin.  I think you can only buy this at Christmas as I can't find it on Boots website.  Will be repurchasing.

Champneys Watermint Body Scrub - This retails for £6 here.  Wow this is fab! The smell is a real pick me up and the scrub is great, not drying and just the right amount and size of beads. Definitely repurchasing.

3 full size and a sample is £3.50 in the pot.

Total of £11.50 added this month making £51.50!!

Boots Haul - £5 No7 Vouchers

I love it when Boots do the £5 No7 Vouchers, so yesterday had a mooch around Boots while the hubby went to check out what bargains he could pick up from Game.

So I went in armed with a single £5 voucher.....

I needed some new face powder so picked up the No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder in Translucent (I did actually think I had picked up fair, but just saw the bottom of the pot!) I've never tried this powder before, I'm hoping its not too drying. It has good reviews on Boots website so I'm looking forward to trying it out. It retails at £11 so after using my voucher I paid £6 and received another £5  No7 voucher.

I then put my advantage card in the machine, I always forget to do this but I had some points to pick up for an internet delivery.  I got three vouchers - 300 points on any Champneys, 250 points on any No7 Beautiful skin and buy any item from the 17 range and get a free hide and chic eye brightening concealer.

I picked up a Lasting Fix nail polish in sweet kisses which is a lilac pastel colour for £2.99, received the hide and chic worth £4.99 for free! I bought some chocolate to make it up to £5 and got another £5 No7 voucher (2 tucked away in purse now)

I used the 300 extra points Champneys voucher on a gorgeous body scrub - smells minty fresh! A bit weird for a body scrub but I think it would be fab to wake you up in the morning!  This cost me £6 so I got another £5 No7 voucher (3 now in purse)

I haven't tried this since its been rebranded under No7 beautiful skin, I'm hoping its only the packaging thats changed and not the product! This retails at £10, but I used one of my No7 £5 vouchers and the voucher for 250 extra points - meaning that I paid £5, got an extra 250 points and another No7 voucher! So back to 3 vouchers....at this point my hubby has finished looking round Game and wants to go to Nandos for lunch (yummy, yummy in my tummy) so I do what I usually do with my vouchers.....

Spend them on nail varnish! L-R Dollar, Milan and Base Coat. These retail at £7 each but using the vouchers I paid £2 each.

Its so hard to pick up the colour, Dollar is a metallic greeny-teal colour.

Milan is a metallic pink, with tiny silver glitter so that it looks like foil! Can't wait to try this out!

So I ended up with goods worth £55.98, less £25.00 of vouchers, less £4.99 free product for £25.99! I also got an extra £5.50 on my Advantage card so technically only spent £20.49! Bargain!!

Oh and walking back to the car I popped in good old Dotty P's, picked up these gorgeous shoes, reduced from £39 to a fabulous £7! Will match my new dollar nail varnish perfectly :)

Found this pic on their website, I couldn't get the colour to show up properly!

What do you think of my little haul? Did I spend my vouchers well? What are you planning to pick up with any vouchers you have got?
