Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser Review

I got this cleanser in the British Beauty Blogger BBB Edit Box and was looking forward to trying it out as I have read some great reviews.

It is a 3-in-1 cleanser and is described on Philosophy's website - our award-winning daily facial skin cleanser is formulated to gently cleanse, tone and melt away all face and eye makeup in one simple step, while lightly hydrating the skin.
The cleanser is light cream coloured and the consistency of shampoo.  It claims to be suitable for all skintypes.  90ml retails for £8.00 here.

I'm afraid I didn't get on with this product, it did remove my makeup well but I found it left my skin feeling very tight and dry and not at all hydrated.

I have normal skin which does tend to lean towards being dry around this time of year as the weather gets cooler.

I have used up all the bottle but I wouldn't repurchase so it's a thumbs down from me!

Have you tried this? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm Review

The Thermal Cleansing Balm was the first product released by Omorovicza back in 2006 when they opened their flagship spa in Budapest.

They incorporate unique natural resources into their products, including black organic Moor mud (this gives the balm it's unusual colour) which is harvested from Europe's largest thermal lake, just outside Budapest.
As you can see the balm is black but it actually applies clear!

The glass jar gives the product a luxurious feel, a little of the balm goes a long way so even though this is a luxury sample size jar it lasted me for about two weeks.
The balm is so gentle that it can be used by all skin types.

It removes make-up easily, including eye makeup.  It doesn't sting at all when used over the eye area and every last bit of mascara was removed.

My skin feels absolutely gorgeous after using this balm, it is left soft and glowing.  I can't get enough of it!

Now it is not cheap, it is priced at £46.00 per 50ml on their website but this sized jar would last for ages.  They also offer free shipping and samples when you purchase it from theur website.

I will definitely be repurchasing this product!

If you want to try this product you can buy a 5ml sample for £5.00 from Latest in Beauty.

Green People Sensitive Skin Solution Review

The Green People Sensitive Skin Solution* is a three step skin care regime.
I have been using this set for about 7 weeks so thought it was time to review it!
It consists of a Cleanser & Make Up Remover, Anti-Ageing 24-Hour Cream and a Rejuvenating Eye Cream.
The range was developed to hydrate, balance and protect to restore natural radiance.  It is rich in nourishing actives to soothe even ultra sensitive skin.
This 2-in-1 cleanser and make-up remover gently purifies the skin to leave it soft and clean.  Calendula and Shea butter have anti-inflammatory properties, whilst Squalane and Jojoba give the skin an instant moisture infusion.
The cleanser is quite a thick cream, it removes all make up including eye make up and doesn't sting.  It leaves my skin lovely and soft and has definitely soothed my skin as it hasn't broken me out once! My skin tone seems more even from using it too.  It is not very often I use a cleanser until the bottle is empty as I am always trying new products but I have used every last bit of this cleanser and will definitely be purchasing a bottle.
This round-the-clock moisturiser maximises skin hydration day and night.  Evening Primrose and Avocado oils deeply nurture the skin, whilst Tara Bush, Seaweed and Baicalin enhance skin hydration and increase collagen production.
This is also quite a thick cream consistency and I was nervous about it clogging my pores but my skin loves it! No dry patches, no break outs just super smooth skin.  My fine lines seem reduced so I am happy with the anti-ageing claims too.
The amount shown here is one pump of the moisturiser, I find it is enough to do my neck too. The cream sinks in easily, it makes a lovely base for make up too.
This soothing eye cream helps to moisturise and nourish the delicate eye area with gentle ingredients such as Evening Primrose and Aloe Vera.  Baicalin, Green Algae and Tara bush are added for their powerful anti-ageing benefits.
Again this cream is quite a thick consistency, however it sinks in easily and leaves no residue.  I have been using this every night and I can definitely see a difference in the fine lines around my eyes.  My eye area looks more plumped too - although I do have rather large eye bags at the moment due to my gorgeous newborn son and the sleepless nights!

As with all Green People products the Sensitive Skin Solution contains products made without Parabens, Lanolin, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), artificial perfumes, petrochemicals, phthalates and colourants.

The set retails for £29.99 here.  10% of net profit is donated to charity.
