Nails Inc Englands Lane and Dollish Polish Crystal Empire

I love, love, love this polish combination!
Dollish Polish Crystal Empire
Nails Inc Englands Lane
One coat of Nails Inc Englands Lane
Consistency was perfect as with all Nails Inc polishes I have tried, fast drying time and dries lovely and glossy.  There is no topcoat in the pic above.
This has to be the one of the most amazing polishes I own!

It is part of the Cartoon collection and inspired by My Little Pony -
The Crystal Empire, a mystical kingdom that mysteriously vanished years ago and now has returned and in need protecting!

This magical polish is chunk full of Stars, Moons circle & square glitters in shades of Pink, Purple, Fuchsia, Turquoise, and White all in a clear base.
This is one coat of Crystal Empire in artificial light

This was taken in natural light
As you can see my mani perfectly matched my drink in the sunshine!

What do you think? Love it as much as I do?

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know by now that I love a good bargain!

When Grace from All That Slap told us about this offer on Nuxe website I couldn't resist placing an order.  SUMMERSALES gives you 30% off and free delivery, you also get an additional 10% off if it is your first order.  Plus buy any two products and get a free beauty kit!  You also get free sachet samples and a free deluxe sample of your choice.
My order arrived very quickly via Royal Mail tracked delivery and was well packaged.

The second item I ordered was Reve de Miel Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel.

I ordered this full size 200ml product after reading a lot of positive reviews.  It smells of honey which I love so I am looking forward to trying this out.

Flavourly June Box Review

This is my very first Flavourly box, it usually costs £14.99 per month on a subscription basis (the subscription can be cancelled at any time and delivery is free) but I got a great Groupon deal and got Junes box delivered at the beginning of this week for £6.00!

Flavourly have teamed up with the national foodbank charity FareShare and for every box that is purchased Flavourly donate one meal for those in need.  I really think this is a fantastic way to support the charity.
The contents are well packaged in a double walled box and wrapped in brown paper.
The contents leaflet is well presented, giving information about the product, where the product comes from, the brands website address and twitter account.
The concept of Flavourly is to discover 6-10 new gourmet foods in each box, the June box was packed full and contained 8 items.

Maybelline Color Show Coral Craze and Dollish Polish Have a Berry Good Day

I love a coral nail when the sun is shining, I picked the Maybelline up from Boots a few weeks ago and the Dollish Polish was from the order I received last month.
Maybelline Color Show in Coral Craze
Dollish Polish Have a Berry Good Day
One coat of Coral Craze, it is nearly opaque in one coat but I could still slightly see the nail line so I put a second coat on.
Two coats - it is fully opaque in two coats.  The consistency of the polish is good and the colour dries nice and glossy, however I really didn't like the brush it feels very thin and soft so didn't give much control when applying the polish.  I had to really take my time when applying the polish so that I didn't get it everywhere!

This is the first polish I have from the Color Show range so I don't know if all the brushes are like this or if I got a dodgy one!

They retail for £2.99 at Boots.
Have a Berry Good Day is from the Cartoon Series and is inspired by Strawberry Shortcake.

This shade boasts an endless sea of pink & green glitters, varying in shapes, sizes, and shades all in a clear base riddled with pink color-shifting flakies!
This is one coat of Have a Berry Good Day with Seche Vite topcoat.

The polish is packed full of glitter so it was very easy to apply and I didn't have to fish for glitter or dab it on.
I purchased the mini of this polish which retails at $5.00 here.

Have you tried any of the Maybelline Color Show polishes?  Do you agree about the brush or did I get a dodgy one?!

June Empties

These are the products I used up in June - not very many this month!
Imperial Leather Foamburst in Oriental Calm with Cherry Blosson & Rice Milk.  This is a full size product, it contains 200ml and retails for £2.55 here.  It is a gel that transforms into a foam, a little bit of gel makes a lot of foam! I would buy this again as it smells lovely and is a fab price as it claims it lasts for 40 showers.  It does contain SLS but I didn't find it drying.

Caudalie Shower Gel in The Des Vignes.  This is a travel size product containing 75ml and was sent to me by Sandra from Beauty Balm.  I am in love with this product! It smells absolutely gorgeous and I will absolutely be purchasing this in the full size version.  It doesn't contain soap, SLS, or parabens and is suitable for sensitive and delicate skin.
Sure Clear Aqua Crystal Deodorant - this is the compressed version which I really like as it is a perfect size to fit in my handbag, especially in this gorgeous weather! Retails for £2.00 here. I would repurchase this again (in fact I have and I am currently using it) I found it kept me dry all day and didn't mark my clothes.

Green People Cleanser and Make Up Remover - you can read my review on this product here.  I would repurchase.
No 7 Beautiful Skin Wipes for All Skin Types.  These retail for £7.00 here and contain 30 wipes.  I really like these wipes, the fabric is soft and doesn't drag the skin.  I buy these when Boots do the £5.00 off No7 range vouchers.  I would repurchase.

Nivea Facial Cleansing Wipes for All Skin Types.  These retail for £2.99 here and contain 25 wipes.  Although these are less than half the price of the No7 wipes I wouldn't repurchase them, I found the material quite rough against my skin and they were a lot drier than the No7 wipes.

Green People Sensitive Skin Solution Review

The Green People Sensitive Skin Solution* is a three step skin care regime.
I have been using this set for about 7 weeks so thought it was time to review it!
It consists of a Cleanser & Make Up Remover, Anti-Ageing 24-Hour Cream and a Rejuvenating Eye Cream.
The range was developed to hydrate, balance and protect to restore natural radiance.  It is rich in nourishing actives to soothe even ultra sensitive skin.
This 2-in-1 cleanser and make-up remover gently purifies the skin to leave it soft and clean.  Calendula and Shea butter have anti-inflammatory properties, whilst Squalane and Jojoba give the skin an instant moisture infusion.
The cleanser is quite a thick cream, it removes all make up including eye make up and doesn't sting.  It leaves my skin lovely and soft and has definitely soothed my skin as it hasn't broken me out once! My skin tone seems more even from using it too.  It is not very often I use a cleanser until the bottle is empty as I am always trying new products but I have used every last bit of this cleanser and will definitely be purchasing a bottle.
This round-the-clock moisturiser maximises skin hydration day and night.  Evening Primrose and Avocado oils deeply nurture the skin, whilst Tara Bush, Seaweed and Baicalin enhance skin hydration and increase collagen production.
This is also quite a thick cream consistency and I was nervous about it clogging my pores but my skin loves it! No dry patches, no break outs just super smooth skin.  My fine lines seem reduced so I am happy with the anti-ageing claims too.
The amount shown here is one pump of the moisturiser, I find it is enough to do my neck too. The cream sinks in easily, it makes a lovely base for make up too.
This soothing eye cream helps to moisturise and nourish the delicate eye area with gentle ingredients such as Evening Primrose and Aloe Vera.  Baicalin, Green Algae and Tara bush are added for their powerful anti-ageing benefits.
Again this cream is quite a thick consistency, however it sinks in easily and leaves no residue.  I have been using this every night and I can definitely see a difference in the fine lines around my eyes.  My eye area looks more plumped too - although I do have rather large eye bags at the moment due to my gorgeous newborn son and the sleepless nights!

As with all Green People products the Sensitive Skin Solution contains products made without Parabens, Lanolin, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), artificial perfumes, petrochemicals, phthalates and colourants.

The set retails for £29.99 here.  10% of net profit is donated to charity.

Barry M Indigo and Nail Pop Sequin Effect Swatches

Hope all my UK followers are enjoying this fabulous weather! About time we saw some sunshine!

Another nail post from me, this week on the All Things Nails facebook page we had a flakies event.  Every week is a different event which is great for trying out polishes that have been sat untried in your stash or for trying colours that you wouldn't normally try.  So if you like painting your nails head over to the page and join in.
Barry M Indigo - One Coat
This is my favourite Barry M polish, it is such a gorgeous colour.
Two coats of Barry M Indigo, fully opaque in two coats and dries to a beautiful glossy finish.
I then topped it with Nail Pop in Sequin Effect (Shade 24)
I have had this polish in my stash for quite a while but hadn't used it yet.  It is so lovely! I can't stop moving my fingers around to see the different colours.

This is the first Nail Pop polish that I have used and I was really impressed, the coverage is brilliant and the application easy.  I have had a look at their range and I want to pick up the pearl effect polish.

I really like this colour combination and it is a bargain too - the Nail Pop retails for £5.00 on Superdrugs website and the Barry M for £2.99 here.  Superdrug currently have a promotion on for 3 for 2 on all nail products too.

They also have this polish in a 4 pack called Winter Brights for £12.00.  The pack is included in the promotion too so you can definitely get a bargain!

Dollish Polish Care Bear Stare and China Glaze Dance Baby Swatches

Another nail post for you today, Dollish Polish Care Bear Stare and China Glaze Dance Baby.
One coat of Dance Baby from the Electropop collection, it is a gorgeous bubblegum pink colour.
It is fully opaque in two coats.  I love pink nail polishes and this is a full on girlie pink!

Application is good as with all China Glaze polishes that I have tried, drying time is quick too and the polish dries nice and glossy.

Dance Baby retails for £4.95 here.
Care Bear Stare is from the Cartoon Collection, it is described as

Care Bears, prepare to stare! This darling glitterbomb was inspired by the Care Bears, and is exploding with pastel glitters in pink, blue, aqua, and purple, in all shapes from hex's to square, butterflies and stars, all in a clear base with varying iridescent glitters.

It retails for $10.00 for a full size bottle and $5.00 for a mini.  I got this in the mini size.
I found I had to fish a bit for the bigger pieces of glitter and I don't think the pink base shows off the polish enough so next time I will try it over a different base - I'm thinking maybe white or a dark purple!

Have you tried this polish?  Any recommendations for what base colour would show this off?
