Nails Inc Brewer Street and Dollish Polish A Unicorn Farted In My Polish

When I saw that Dollish Polish had released a Unicorn named polish I just had to have it, I love anything Unicorn related!
Nails Inc Brewer Street
Dollish Polish A Unicorn Farted in my Polish
Brewer Street is a hard colour to describe! I would say it is a pastel lime green.

I'm normally a huge fan of Nails Inc polishes but I found the consistency of this quite thick and hard to apply.  The polish had separated in the bottle so this may be why.  This is two coats over Sally Hansen Insta-Grip base coat.
Wow just look how pretty this polish is!

Described on the Dollish Polish website:
Little known fact: Unicorns fart rainbows. It's true! And as he was flying over the Dollish Polish shop, he "deposited" a little gift inside each an every bottle! This glitterbomb consists of every color in the rainbow! Glitters ranging from small to large, in stars, moons, squares, dots, hexagons, rectangles and more! This really is one magical polish!
Two coats of Unicorn with a top coat of Seche Vite in artificial light.
In natural light.

I love, love, love this polish! I will be getting it in full size when I next place a Dollish order.

You can buy the mini for $5.00 and the full size for $10.00 here.

Dollish Polish Care Bear Stare and China Glaze Dance Baby Swatches

Another nail post for you today, Dollish Polish Care Bear Stare and China Glaze Dance Baby.
One coat of Dance Baby from the Electropop collection, it is a gorgeous bubblegum pink colour.
It is fully opaque in two coats.  I love pink nail polishes and this is a full on girlie pink!

Application is good as with all China Glaze polishes that I have tried, drying time is quick too and the polish dries nice and glossy.

Dance Baby retails for £4.95 here.
Care Bear Stare is from the Cartoon Collection, it is described as

Care Bears, prepare to stare! This darling glitterbomb was inspired by the Care Bears, and is exploding with pastel glitters in pink, blue, aqua, and purple, in all shapes from hex's to square, butterflies and stars, all in a clear base with varying iridescent glitters.

It retails for $10.00 for a full size bottle and $5.00 for a mini.  I got this in the mini size.
I found I had to fish a bit for the bigger pieces of glitter and I don't think the pink base shows off the polish enough so next time I will try it over a different base - I'm thinking maybe white or a dark purple!

Have you tried this polish?  Any recommendations for what base colour would show this off?

Dollish Polish Purple Nurples Swatches and Review

I placed my very first order with Dollish Polish on 23rd May and they arrived safely with me in the UK on Friday.  Shipping is fast and very reasonably priced.  The polishes come well wrapped in bubble wrap and in hot pink bags which is a lovely touch!
I picked Purple Nurples to try first.
This is from the Cartoon Series and inspired by Cartoon Networks' Chowder.
This is the description of the polish from Dollish's site.

Neon purple jelly has tons of glitters, ranging from hexagons, squares, and circles, all in varying shades of periwinkle, purples, pinks, magenta, and blue/green iridescent glitters.
This is three coats, picture taken inside.
These pictures taken outside were taken today, three days after applying the polish.
As you can see the polishes is packed full of glitters!
The polish was easy to apply, I didn't have to go fishing for the larger pieces of glitter either.

I really like this polish.  The colour is gorgeous!

I can't wait to try out the rest of the polishes from my order!

Have you tried anything from Dollish Polish?

Nina Ultra Pro Caribbean Blue and OPI Save Me Swatches

I asked hubby to pick a colour to paint my nails as I just couldn't decide!

He picked this combination which goes really well together.  It is the first time I have used the Nina polish.
OPI Save Me
Nina Ultra Pro Caribbean Blue
Caribbean blue applies beautifully and is opaque in two coats.
Save Me has gone a bit gloopy was fine for one finger!
Caribbean blue is beautiful, it really does remind me of tropical seas!

I have had this on for a few days now and it still hasn't chipped, it was quick to dry too.

Thumbs up from me :)

Have you tried any of the Nina Ultra Pro polishes?

Angelica Nail Colour - Brit Pop Glitter Polish Review

Look at this gorgeous polish! Brit Pop by Angelica Nail Colour.
Wow! Look at all that glitter!
Brit Pop
This was definitely the polish I was most excited about when I opened the package, I love glitter polishes.
Absolutely packed full of multi-coloured glitter.
One Coat
Two Coats

I love this polish! It is absolutely packed with glitter and is so bright and colourful. It dries quickly and is not too gritty although, as with all glitters, it needs a top coat. Angelica Nail Colour in Brit Pop is sold in Primark in the UK for £2.50 per bottle and contains 10ml of varnish. For £2.50 this is an absolute steal!

Angelica Nail Colour are in the process of setting up their website, but you can also find them on Twitter and Facebook. They sent me this polish for review.

Thank you to Sandy Godfrey for this picture of her holding her bottle of Leighton Denny Over the Rainbow. Brit Pop seems like a very good dupe to me!

What do you think? Have you tried this brand before?

Review Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover and Essie Nail Masks

My poor nails have been feeling rather neglected recently, I normally paint them 2-3 times a week but this week I haven't painted them at all and I was walking around with chipped varnish - oh, the shame!

I spotted this in TK Maxx today at the till when I was buying yet more nail varnish and as my cuticles are in dire need of some TLC I bought it.
The tip is perfect for applying the gel around the cuticle.
Oh just realised the tip can be used to push back the cuticles!! I searched everywhere for my cuticle tool thing!
The application is not too messy as the gel is quite thick.
After I washed the gel off I got out my Essie nail masks to give my nails some hydration.
I picked these up in TK Maxx a few weeks ago, the pack contains three lots of 10 masks.
The masks contain VitaminE for nourishment, a built in hydrating serum and a natural 10 oil blend to condition the nail.
The masks are a thick gel like substance. You peel them off the backing strip, press them onto your nail and leave for 5 minutes. The masks do not leave any residue behind.
They are scientifically proven to improve the condition of the nail and increase hydration by 33% in the five minutes that the masks are applied.
Before - my poor nails!
After - looking much better!
Thats better, a bit of sparkle!
China Glaze Riveting from The Hunger Games collection.

I love the Essie masks but I can't find them online to repurchase :( I'll have to keep an eye out in TK Maxx incase they have any more in and if they do I'll be buying up all their stock! I can see a real difference in my nails when I use the masks. My nails feel smoother and definitely more hydrated.

I was pleased with the Sally Hansen cuticle remover, my cuticles are not perfect but much better than they were this morning.

I can't stop looking at my nails, this colour is amazing it looks like fire on my fingertips!
