Inhibitif Hair-Free Deodorant

I first read about inhibitif when Sam did a review over at Honey Go-Lightly so when I popped into Boots at the beginning of the week to pick up some deodorant and saw this on the shelf I picked it straight up!
The deodorant contains 50ml and retails for £8.99 in Boots and on the Inhibitif website.
The deodorant claims to minimise the need for hair removal within 2 months when used daily.  As I am a brunette my underarm hairs are quite dark, I shave under them every time I shower so it would be nice to have fuzz free armpits!
The deodorant is a standard roll on.  It does have a mint fragrance which is very bizarre! Looking on their website though they do a Fragrance Free version which I would prefer, but they only had the mint one in my local Boots.

I will do a review in a month and then again at the end of the two months, you will have to trust my word though as I won't be doing before and after photos! ;)

After looking on their website I can see they do a range of products and you can read more about how it works.  You can find their website here.

What do you think?  Would you give this product a go?

Rimmel Metal Rush Pearly Queen Review

I must admit I have so many polishes in my stash that I have not yet tried, I really must try not to buy any more until I have worked my way through them (yeah who am I kidding, can't resist the pretties!! ).

Rimmel Metal Rush Pearly Queen was one of these polishes.
Pearly Queen is from a small range of duo chrome polishes from Rimmel.

It is a silvery lilac that shifts to green and gold.  It is quite sheer all the pics show three coats plus topcoat.  It dried quickly and the wear time was very good - I think I got 4 days without it chipping which is a long time on my nails.
You can see the different colours coming through the polish and it looks so pretty and sparkly in the bottle....
....unfortunately I really didn't like it on my nails.

I personally found the colour too wishy washy for my personal taste and I don't think it suits my skintone.
It is quite pretty when it shifts to the greeny gold colour, this was taken in artificial light.
This is in natural light.
Even on this pic I think it looks much nicer in the bottle!

This polish is not for me, I have passed it on to my sister.  I maybe should have tried it over a base colour but I'm trying to be a bit ruthless with my polishes!

If you like it you can buy it for £3.99 here.  Have you tried any of the Metal Rush polishes?

balance Me Super Moisturising Body Oil Review

balance Me is a UK company that was founded in 2005 by sisters Rebecca and Claire,  the brand has grown significantly over the past two years and has recently been launched in Debenhams.

balance Me uses hi-tech natural formulations to create their products, which do not contain parabens, sulphates, petroleum, mineral oils, silicones, des, pegs, propylene glycol, artificial fragrances or colours.
I was contacted by balance Me to ask if I wanted to try their products, I told them that I had just had a baby and they recommended trying this product as Super Moisturising Body Oil* was created when Rebecca became pregnant with her first baby to help minimise the risk of the appearance of stretch marks.

It is also recommended for use during weight gain or loss to help minimise the risk of developing scars and for reducing the appearance of existing stretch marks.

The bottle contains 200ml and retails for £24.50 on their website.

A little of the oil goes a long way so this size bottle would last a good while!
The oil has a thin consistency and I found it absorbed quite quickly, although I would recommend waiting a few minutes after application before getting dressed.  The oil does not leave any residue once it is absorbed.  I have been using on on my arms as well as my tummy as they get quite dry.  I do find this really does get rid of the dry patches.
This the list of ingredients.

The oil has a nice subtle smell from the ingredients - the one I can smell most strongly is the rosehip oil.

Have you tried this oil or anything else from the balance Me brand?

August Empties!

Can you believe it is September already?! I've not done an empties post for a while but I like reading other peoples so I remembered to save my empties in August!
Aussie Miracle Shine Shampoo, Conditioner and Deep Treatment (all full size)

I have product OCD when it comes to my hair! I have to use matching products!
I haven't used Aussie products for ages but I bought these when they were on offer 3 for £10 in Tescos.  I regularly see these products on offer, not just in Tescos.

I would repurchase all of these, my hair loves them.  They all contain Australian ginseng extract and pearl powder, after using my hair is soft and shiny with no frizz.  They all smell really nice too, like fruity bubblegum!
Caudalie Zeste De Vigne Shower Gel 75ml.  200ml is on offer for £7.20 here.
Thank you to Sandra from Beauty Balm for sending me this, she knows how much I love Caudalie shower gel.  It smells gorgeous, I keep having a sniff of the tube as I'm typing! The gel contains aloe vera and the scent is notes of flowers, leaves and fruits from the lemon tree. I would definitely repurchase this, in fact I might just purchase right now while it is on offer!

Life Jump Start Body Wash 100ml, 350ml retails for £12.50 here.  This is a blend of grapefruit, spearmint and peppermint - grapefruit is the overriding scent for me. This is a nice product but I wouldn't repurchase as £12.50 is too much for me personally to spend on a shower gel.

Bayliss & Harding Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Shower Gel 100ml. A whopping 750ml retails for £5.00 here and is presented in a sequin bag so would make a fab present.  Now I don't know if it is just me but Bayliss & Harding products always remind me of Christmas! I think it is because all the sets are out in the shops.  This is a nice shower gel and for the price I would repurchase.
Cutex Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 200ml retails for £2.19 here. I  wouldn't repurchase this product, I have naturally oily nails and as the remover is conditioning it makes my polish peel.

Sure Clear Aqua Anti-Perspirant 250ml is on offer for £1.50 here.  I have actually repurchased this twice but I have noticed that it does leave marks if I wear black tops so I won't be purchasing again.

Nivea Invisible Anti-Perspirant 35ml, full size 250ml retails for £3.00 here.  I bought this to take into hospital when I had my son, it was the perfect size for my bag.  I would repurchase.
Seventeen Doll'd Up mascara, retails for £6.29 at Boots (can't link as the Boots website is down!) I bought this as I had a voucher from Boots when the mascara was released which meant I was able to purchase it for £2.00.  I wouldn't repurchase this for full price (is it just me who thinks Seventeen have upped their prices??!)

Rimmel Day 2 Night mascara, retails for £4.98 here.  I like this mascara as it has a thin wand for daytime and a thicker wand for evening.  When I use it in the evening I use the thin wand for length then go over with the thicker wand for volume.  This is a great product, especially for the price.  I have repurchased this three times!
Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing balm, you can read my review here.
I always end up with lots of sample sachets that get put to one side so I have put them in a basket in the bathroom and I am going to use them up!

Have you done an empties post? Leave your link and I will have a read!

Nails Inc Brewer Street and Dollish Polish A Unicorn Farted In My Polish

When I saw that Dollish Polish had released a Unicorn named polish I just had to have it, I love anything Unicorn related!
Nails Inc Brewer Street
Dollish Polish A Unicorn Farted in my Polish
Brewer Street is a hard colour to describe! I would say it is a pastel lime green.

I'm normally a huge fan of Nails Inc polishes but I found the consistency of this quite thick and hard to apply.  The polish had separated in the bottle so this may be why.  This is two coats over Sally Hansen Insta-Grip base coat.
Wow just look how pretty this polish is!

Described on the Dollish Polish website:
Little known fact: Unicorns fart rainbows. It's true! And as he was flying over the Dollish Polish shop, he "deposited" a little gift inside each an every bottle! This glitterbomb consists of every color in the rainbow! Glitters ranging from small to large, in stars, moons, squares, dots, hexagons, rectangles and more! This really is one magical polish!
Two coats of Unicorn with a top coat of Seche Vite in artificial light.
In natural light.

I love, love, love this polish! I will be getting it in full size when I next place a Dollish order.

You can buy the mini for $5.00 and the full size for $10.00 here.
